Welcome to JBAB Home Educators! JBAB Home Educators is an inclusive group of military homeschoolers on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) here in DC. Our group is open to all military, active duty and retired, as well as DOD civilian families stationed at JBAB and the surrounding installations. We are open to all homeschooling philosophies. Every family is considered a small school where the focus is the investment of quality education and leadership for our children. If you’ve never homeschooled before, we can help you sort out curriculum choices, support you through the difficult times, and celebrate with you when your child reaches another milestone. Living in Washington DC makes homeschooling come to life with great field trips and hands on learning. We know what it was like when we started homeschooling - let us help make it easier for you! If you are a veteran to homeschooling, you may already know the benefits of having a support group like JBAB Home Educators. Active members of JBAB Home Educators are what make it a great organization with a focus on teaching life lessons and customized curriculums to students. We’re always looking for new ideas to share with one another. The closer the families get to each other, the better the school experience for our students - we need one another! Every Family Participates in making the JBAB Home Educators the best it can be. No cookie-cutter education here!
